Hybrid of: (Saveravi Servenyi = Fruher Malingre x Vitis Amurensis) x St. Laurent.
The sort Saperavi Severnyi is a cross between Fruher Malingre and the asiagrape Vitis Amurensis.
From the former Czechoslowakia dates back to 1964 and
developed in German grape research institute Geisenheim.
